BEAVER SCOUTS ARE THE YOUNGEST SECTION OF THE SCOUTING FAMILY, TAKING BOYS AND GIRLS FROM THE AGES OF 6 TO 8.
Our Beaver meetings are busy and bright and our Beaver Scouts love to earn lots of badges to adorn their Beaver Uniforms. They have lots of fun inside and out and also join in activities with the rest of Tanworth Scout Group. We also attend District and County events where we meet up with hundreds of Beavers and have really exciting adventurous activities like tree top trails, camp fires, toasting marshmallows and sleepovers!
In Tanworth our Beavers meet for an hour every Thursday from 6:15pm till 7:30pm during term time.
All children regardless of their gender, background, ethnicity or religion are welcome at Beavers.

Uniform and badge placement
You don’t need a uniform to join. But once you’ve settled in, you’ll start speedily earning badges, and you’ll need to know where to put them!
Beaver leaders
All of our leaders are trained volunteers, working to make sure Scouting is safe, inclusive and accessible. Some lead the Colony week in and week out. Others visit occasionally to help run a session or drop in to share their skills. No matter how much time you have to spare, find out about volunteering on your own terms.
